The River Delta Fire District currently serves the citizens with a total of (4) fire apparatus and (3) Command Vehicles. Each piece of apparatus is maintained to a state of 100% readiness at all times. Our apparatus maintenance is overseen by our Apparatus Coordinator, line personnel and Battalion Chiefs. It is our operational goal to standardize the equipment on our engines to help provide consistency in delivering our services. We carry firefighting equipment, auto extrication equipment, air bags, rope rescue equipment and a variety of tools to help us mitigate the many different types of emergencies that we respond to. We also carry a large cache of EMS medical and trauma equipment including defibrillators, to provide high quality EMS care. The River Delta District has plans to expand our scope of practice to include the administration of Narcan, Epinephrine and the use of a glucometer and subglottic advanced airway device .
River Delta Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, River Delta Fire District
